  • Get stuff done! Gantt charts for efficient project planning

So you've mapped out clear SOP's for your team using some flowchart/mindmap software. Now it's time to actually get the work done. I recommend using Gantt charts for project/task management. You can visualize the whole timeline and it gives a very clear overview of your projects.

There are many different solutions out there but the 2 bigger ones are teamgantt.com and wrike.com

I've been using teamwork.com (incidentally if you are a "startup" you can get a free year)

I like it. But my charts look a lot more messy than that!

Totally agree, great for detailed thinking, visually explaining the process to a team and defining the critical path to get things done on time. They are great for tracking and managing projects, but also for communicating to parties outside your team, especially upfront so they have an idea what's going on when.

Short explanation of why/how to use them - https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newPPM_03.htm
Ideas are everywhere, it's execution that's in short supply.
